It looks like such a project will be included in the Presupuesto Generales del Estado; i.e., regional budget.

The proposed pathway, which will run 2.5km, linking Torrenueva to Playa de la Azucenas, fits in with the Coastal Protection Plan, as it would pass through the small dunes (sand humps, better said) behind the said beach, offering an attractive stroll, jog, or even bicycle ride.
