Cyclists on uphill, narrow roads with bends are annoying for motorists, but would you shoot one? Well, one hunter did, but by mistake.

Actually, the incident took place on a country track in Berrocalejo de Aragona (Ávila) as the 45-year-old cyclist peddled along… unsuspectingly.

The hunter loosed off a cartridge from his 12-bore… mistaking him for what – God knows, but before you could say, “I say! Sorry, old Chap!” the cyclist was down and finely peppered with shot around his ear, arm and leg.

When the ambulance got there he was conscious, feeling dizzy, and rather annoyed. He was taken to hospital for treatment but the bicycle was put out of its misery on the spot… Nah… just joking!

Ah, and no, the photo is obviously not related, but that is a rather large gun, is it not?
