They often say that the British are obsessed with the weather… well this weekend they have had plenty to talk about. Mind you, it’s not just the British on this occasion, the Spanish media is awash with stories of how the Costa Tropical is living up to it’s name.
They are claiming that even Spanish residents are reaching for their sandals again, after stowing them in the back of the wardrobe in favour of boots, in preparation for the colder weather.
Well, today is a lazy Sunday and according to the Meteorological Agency (AEMET) the mercury will not drop below 20 degrees for the whole day in any of the provinces on the western half of the peninsula.
Cordoba, Seville and Almeria can expect 32 degrees and Granada a mere 30 degrees. Even Bilbao and San Sebastian are predicting 30 degrees plus.
So, whip out those bikinis or slip into your Speedos and hit the beach! Easy parking, empty spaces and warm weather… heaven! Now, where did I put that diamanté thong?
