The BMX track that is situated in Taramay, Almuñécar will be the venue, this Saturday the 27th, for an important BMX bike competition.

The event is organised by the Club Show Time BMX Almuñécar, with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Board and the Federación Andaluza de Ciclismo in Granada.

The Tropical Cup is not only an Open Internacional de BMX, recognized by the Unión Ciclista Internacional, but it is also validated for the Andalusian Championships, which is the springboard for the national championships.

The day starts at 11.00h with training sessions but the race itself does not take place until 17.00h on the said BMX track. About 100 participants from all over Spain will compete, as well as some from Portugal, France and Chile. But there are plenty of locals as around 40% of the competitors are from the province.

First Prize will be a 1,400-euro cash prize.
