If you love those old Minis (the car, not the skirts) then you had best get to Motril this weekend!

The Club Andaluz, Los Locos del Mini has organized a Mini meet with the cars arriving in Motril on Friday the 5th where they will remain until Sunday. And it’s not just about drooling over Minis because there will be all kinds of other activities, too.

The arrival point is Playa de Poniente between 18.00h and 21.00h, after which there will be a spot of grub for the participants in the nearby campsite.

Saturday kicks in at 10.30h when the participating vehicles will begin a drive around the centre of Motril, ending up at the Plaza de la Coronación, where they will be on display.

From there, there will be a visit to the Museo Preindustrial de la Caña de Azúcar. There will also be other activities until ending the day with a BBQ.

Sunday will be an outing day, for a drive through the sierras and along the coast, ending with a paella on the beach.

Not sure if the participants will be able to fit into their Minis after scoffing that lot over three days, mind…
