The young, table-tennis player, Lucía López, from the Club Tenis de Mesa Almuñécar, has moved to European level.

She is taking part this weekend in the championships for youngsters called, Mini Champ, which is being held in Schiltigheim in France, according to the club’s coordinator, Rafael Marín.

So, Lucía is part of the Spanish team, headed by team captain, Almudena Roldan. Also present from the Almuñécar club is Mercedes Fernández and another local talent present is Motril player, Ana Pedregosa.

This event is the first in the new sporting-year’s agenda with regional and national-level championships on the horizon.
