The Almuñécar branch of the IU has asked the Town Council to consider leaving a small space for cars to park near the bus station.

we’re talking about a space for about three cars maximum for drivers to drop off or pick up bus passengers. No stay should surpass five minutes.

The Spokesman for the party, Fermín Tejero, considers that this facility should have been envisaged in the original plans but be that as it may, this oversight could easily be remedied.

Editorial Comment: Good idea, but firstly, a 5-minute limit might be impractical, considering bus arrival punctuality, and secondly, how would this limit be enforced?
