A 55-year-old Swedish woman is thought to have drowned in her own pool in Almuñécar.
A neighbour saw her body in the pool and attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but in vain, as were the efforts of the paramedics from 061.
The incident occurred around midnight, last night (Friday 18th) on Calle Raíces in the Urbanización El Capricho.
It is still too early to know the exact cause and circumstances of her death.
