Hi David,
We are still keeping on our Jellyfish Research and have just reopened the Ocean Awareness Workshops they will be open until mid September. Would it be possible to publish this information in your august issue? Furthermore, can you publish this also on the on line version of your magazine?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Karen and Darius Enayati

Ocean Awareness Workshops are back!
We should call our planet “Ocean”, as the ocean covers 71 percent of the Earth’s surface. Without water, there would be no life on earth. It is estimated that over 90 percent of the world’s biodiversity resides in its oceans. But we still know so little about its marvels.
This summer let your children discover the wonders of the ocean and understand its importance! Karen is an oceanographer and studies the local jellyfish population in the Marina del Este and surrounding coastline. The Ocean Awareness Workshops are perfect for kids aged eight and upwards. The smaller ones are also welcome, but do need to be accompanied by an adult.
The Ocean Awareness Workshops are taking place right at he Port of Marina del Este, next to the dive center and takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9pm. Classes start at 7:30 PM. The fee is 5 € per child. English, Spanish, French and German are spoken. There will be also different speeches for adults during the summer; one of them is “Are Jellyfish taking over our Oceans?”
For schedule of the talks and to book for the Workshops contact Jellyfish Research South Spain on 693 560 662 or you can email enquiries to: Jellyfish_Research@yahoo.com and be sure to check out their Facebook page “Jellyfish Research South Spain”.
