Over 50 people – adults and kids – participated in the Marcha Cicloturista Sexitana.

Cyclists set out from the municipal stadium and cycled around the main streets of Almuñécar and the seafront roads with the idea of promoting ‘sustainable mobility.’

Half way through the ‘tour;’ i.e., when they reached Taramay’s El Pozuelo, there was fresh fruit and soft drinks to help ‘sustain the mobility’ of the participants.

Then it was back to the municipal stadium, Francisco Bonet, where gifts and medals were handed out for the kids and cycling accessories for the adults.

The Councillor for the Environment, Luis Aragón, who participated himself, congratulated everybody for participating. Unfortunately, he dislocated his shoulder trying to pat himself on the back…. just joking!
