Tomorrow, Sunday the 14th will see the fourth annual Bikiwagen meet on the Costa Tropical.

Members of the Volkswagen Club Granada will be converging on Motril, which will serve as a starting point for a VW parade to Carchuna/Calahonda. The meeting point is “a shopping centre” car park (Al Campo?) so that at 11.00h they can drive around Motril before setting off for Carchuna Castillo.

All things going to plan, at noon they will be received by the First Councillor before continuing on to Calahonda where participants will pass the day on the beach.

But it’s not only VW buses and beetles because there will also be a Spanish omelette competition and plenty of sardines on bamboo spits. After a short siesta; i.e., digestive pause, there will be beach games.
