Cecilia Chacón received a very deserving homage at the inauguration of the new AECC offices in Almuñécar. Congratulations, Cecilia!

The new offices are in San Sebastian in the old school building on Calle Arcos del Ingenio; i.e., next to the aqueduct wall that runs through this barrio.

Also present at the inauguration were the Councillor for Welfare, María del Carmen Reinos, and the provincial & local heads of the AECC, Francisco Jerez and Rosina Ruiz, respectively.

Cecilia Chacón, who has worked tirelessly for the local branch for 18 years, most of which along side the late Jeanette Ashby, received not only praise from the provincial head, Francisco Jerez, for her important work for the AECC but also a warm and energetic ovation from those gathered at the ceremony.
