The Almuñécar Town Hall is contemplating adjusting local by-laws to control the use of TV screens viewable on bar terraces; i.e., outside the bar.
Of course, this measure is timed to coincide with the World Cup – anybody who saw the last one in Almuñécar will remember the dozens of bars that had wide-screen TV’s covering the matches on their terraces. The bars in Kelibia Square is one prime example.
This point will be dealt with in a Plenary Meeting planned for Tuesday the 10th of June. Other points included will be a revision of a building licence for Promociones Río Jate for a project on La Cañada in La Herradura.
More news on both points when a press release on the Plenary is issued.
