Well, it’s pretty obvious that we are just over a week away from elections, because all over Spain new public works are being announced.
In the case of La Herradura, the latest is a retaining wall along the Carril de Río Jate, costing 18,000 euros.
The First Councillor of La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, who said that the work had been carried out by a local builder, Francisco Cecilia Martín, explained that the work was to make the track safer after the deterioration experienced due to recent rainfall.
He went on to emphasize that the track or lane serves the Río Jate and El Cerval areas, linking them to the N-340.
