The PSOE had suggested improvements to Calle Obispo and other old-town La Herradura streets. Sr. Joya pointed out that the governing party had suggested precisely that before the Mancomunidad, to be included in work already being carried out of this nature; i.e. on the said street, where it joins La Cuesta Peralta.
Editorial Comment: It does appear that as the local elections near, our dear political parties are racing to spend public money on vote-catching public works.
On the other hand, the motive behind the work is secondary to the result; i.e. improved streets and infrastructure in general, of course.
