A total of 185 participants climbed onto their bicycles and pedaled into history as part of the Almuñécar 2014 Carnival de Bici.
The event was organized by the Club Ciclista de Almuñécar, counting on the necessary participation of the Policía Local etc.
When you consider that only half that amount participated in last year’s event, this year’s was quite a success.
Starting out from Avenida Europa, next to the Majuelo Park, then touring the other main town arteries before heading, menacingly, for the town-hall square. We say, “menacingly,” because when some clown comes at you on a bike…
Anyway, after a spot of town-centre debauchery, prizes were handed out for the best fancy-dress costumes… and for the most scalps taken.
