The Alcalde of Molvízar and Autobuses Delgado to provide “chauffeur” bus service for Joven Orquesta del Sur’s Granada concert benefiting Acompalia
Acompalia will be getting extra help from some new friends next month. The Alcalde of Molvízar, Fermín García and local coach service Autobuses Delgado have offered a comfortable ride to concertgoers attending a special performance by the prestigious Joven Orquesta del Sur on Saturday 15th of March.
Buses going directly to the venue, the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, will pick up and drop off in Almuñécar, Salobreña, Motríl, Órgiva, Lanjarón, the Beznar exit and the Lecrín exit of the E902/A44. The cost will be just €3 per person for the return journey.
“We’re delighted to hear that the Alcalde and Baldomero Delgado, owner of the coach firm, have been able to put together this very special offer and we really appreciate their support,” said Acompalia Committee member, Lindsay Ostervig. “We welcome the involvement of Spanish communities and businesses, as Acompalia was created for all of us in Granada province.”
Lindsay went on to say: “We have been allocated a large block of tickets. The proceeds from selling all of these will go towards our Telephone Helpline service. That means more patients with cancer and other life-limiting conditions, and their families in Granada province, can get practical and emotional support from our trained and caring Helpline volunteers in 2014.”
The concert begins at 8.30 pm; tickets are €12 each. For more information please contact Lindsay Ostervig on info@acompalia.org , phone 664776251, and visit the Acompalia website at: www.acompalia.org (full details in Fundraising News section)
