Motril has several small dependencies, such as Garnatilla, for example, whose affairs are dealt with in a special office.

Councillor for Anejos (annexed hamlets), Concepción Abarca, has announced that the said offices have been moved.

Up until now, it was in the Plaza de la Libertad, which is being remodeled at the moment; read: having its parking spaces eliminated.

The new location is the Calle Trinidad, which is closer to the main town-hall building.

Now unless my eyes deceive me, that appears to be the old Post Office in the supplied photo, which is just behind the Town Hall square.

Anyway, Councillor Abarca assures everybody that the municipal dependencies are very important to the Town Council, especially as the elections are not far away, one might add, so anybody from one of these out-flung communities can contact the office its email address: anejos@motril.es.
