Boys and girls from the Centro Municipal Infantil (playschool) in La Herradura met Father Christmas on the 20th December. The encounter took place between the under-3-year olds and the Man in the Red Suit at the exhibition hall at the Centro Cívico.

Papa Noel, as he is known in Spanish, was loaded down with sweets, balloons and presents for kids, numbering just under 50, many of whom were dressed as mini shepherds.

As could be expected, whilst some ran up and wanted a cuddle, others burst in to tears. Mothers and Grandmothers were at hand to control the excited and pacify the terror struck.

We’ve pixelated the faces of the young children to comply with the law, although the parents would probably have liked to have been able to recognise their offspring.
