Kiddies from the Colegio Público Las Gaviotas in La Herradura had a chance to meet the local firemen, police and Protección Civil volunteers and find out what to do in an emergency.
This is part of a campaign entitled Seguridad en Instalaciones Públicas.
The First Councillor for La Herradura, Juan José Ruiz Joya, explained, “these events are part of citizen-safety education and how to react in an emergency.”
Pupils and teachers had a chance to look around the different types of vehicles used by these emergency services, neatly parked up in front of the school gates.
The kids must have had a good time, that’s for sure.
