The Motril rum factory, Ron Montero is organising an event to mark the 50th anniversary of the Church charity, Cáritas, in Salobreña.

The celebration will comprise of a classical-music concert, entitled, La Melodía del Ron Español, and will be held on the 30th of November. The venue will be the Auditorio Manuel de Falla in the city of Granada.

It will be well worth the trip up there as the music will be performed by the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, together will some top-level figures.

But it’s not all about classical music, but also how Spanish rum is elaborated, set to the music of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony and Manuel Falla’s, Amor Brujo.
