La Herradura’s Calle Justo de Haro Caballero up in the old town now has a cobblestone surface. Well, not exactly cobblestone but paved with small granite bricks.

The First Councillor for the village, Juan José Ruiz Joya, was not camera shy for the occasion, and can be seen sagaciously inspecting the work.

He pointed out that it is part of the drive to replace concrete-surfaced streets, which have deteriorated, with these granite Romanic bricks.

The work should conclude before the month does.
