A 7-year-old old girl died from a gunshot wound when bullets came in through her bedroom window in a marginal housing estate in Sevilla.

The Barriada of Tres Mill Viviendas is a notoriously dangerous area of Sevilla; as it’s name indicates, its a gigantic housing estate crammed with marginal families, rife with drugs and family feuds.

Both parents, aged 30 and 32, were also wounded by flying bullets when a gang ‘hosed down’ the wrong flat.

According to the police a gang of youths, including one girl, armed to the teeth, shot up the ground-floor flat. The reason behind the attack was thought to be an unpaid drug debt.

But the gang had got the wrong flat. The little girl received a bullet impacts in the back, perforating her lungs and arteries. She was rushed to hospital for an immediate operation but surgeon could not save her life.

Around 20 cartridge cases were found covering the ground outside the house and in the passage way, which the police considers, demonstrates that the housing estate has a veritable armoury hidden away.
