The CA on La Herradura

As far as Convergencia Andaluza is concerned the new Junta law concerning the first 500 metres from the sea will completely stifle the development of the municipality.

The party claims that the “over protection” of the 500m strip will affect undeveloped land between the Barranco Enmedio (next to the limits with Salobreña) right through to La Herradura and thus impede all economic development in future, as well as condemning any population growth in the municipality.

The CA believes that the new law “has it in for” La Herradura, because it blocks the village’s natural area of expansion. The restrictions also knock the new secondary school project and medical centre on the head, not to mention projected sports installations.

Bearing all this mind the CA wants to set up a local pressure group entitled, Plataforma por el Desarollo del Litoral de La Herradura, with the objective of compiling and submitting objections to the law within the legal period set aside for the public to register their complaints.
