Herradura Goes Space Age

OK, Ok, that might be just little bit of an exaggeration but we’re trying to whip up some enthusiasm, here, Folks.

The First Councillor for La Herradura has proudly announced that the village has obtained a ‘special machine’ for the pavements. Great stuff!

The Councillor went on to explain the specification of the new device, which basically produces a high-pressure jet of water for blasting the footpath surfaces.

“With this machines, which seems quite simple, but does have great power, we want to potentialize the cleaning tasks that are being carried out by the hired cleaning company FFC, as it will be able to eliminate stains that have until now resisted,” he explained.

He went on to explain that as it is connected to the mains water supply, it doesn’t need filling and that the device allows detergents to be added.

He also happened to mention that it cost 4,000 euros, whilst explaining that it has a two man crew.

His final comments, however, were that, “it is not a case of cleaning more, but of dirtying the village less, which will contribute to saving money.”
