What an effort by all the participants, with temperatures well into the 30’s, over 60 people did the walk with just about all of them donning a decorated bra, and all of the AECC (Cancer) charity!

The idea was the brainchild of Tracey Law from Café Ayer in Almuñécar, Melanie England formerly of La Mariposa and Rebecca Braunton from The Business. Well, they certainly did the business, with people turning from all over the Costa Tropical, either to participate, support or donate. My mate, the gorgeous Katie Booth from La Herradura has raised over 300 euros alone! Just on the day there was over 1000 euros donated. All of the money raised will go straight to the AECC (Cancer Association).

Even the Mayor of Almuñécar, Trinidad Herrera thought it was worthy of a visit on a Sunday to see the participants off on their way, along with their police escort. All the walkers returned safely, although a little hot and even posed for some after-walk photos.

A well organised event, in aid of a worthwhile cause. Enhorabuena!!!
