Good news for the inhabitants at the top of Rio Verde and Rio Seco as they will now be able to receive multiple TV channels, thanks to a TDT repeater.

Los Bañuelos, Peña Escrita and part of Río Seco, just above Almuñécar, lost their TV channels when analogical TV bit the dust, but unlike on the coast, they had no Televisión Digital Terrestre (TDT). In fact, up until now they have only been able to receive Canal Sur, which is a fate worse than death, admittedly.

The Almuñécar Town Hall has erected a suitable hut, keeping to the specifications, and slapped a satellite decoder in it, explained the Councillor for the Rural Department, José Manuel Fernández, which will serve as a booster for the area.
