Now that the clearing and cleaning operations along the Rambla de Espinar have concluded, work has begun on the access lane to the municipal sports pavilion in La Herradura.
The temporary parking area alongside this access lane, colloquially known as the “swamp,” is also going to receive some attention from the Maintenance Department, because what with all the rain during the spring and the arrival of sunnier weather, vegetation has gone into overdrive.
The First Councillor for the village says that the first two weeks of June will see a gearing up in these vegetation-clearing operations, “because the Winter and Spring has seen so much rain,” he explained.
