Harley Davison Meet

Almuñécar was invaded by a host of 200, legendary, Harley Davison motorbikes over the weekend (4th/5th) – there was more black leather and studs present than at Tory MP’s stag night.

This was the first time such an event has been held in Almuñécar. Chapters from all over Andalucia, as well as Melilla turned up. Individual riders from the north, such as La Coruña (Galicia) made an appearance, according to the Secretary of the Granada Chapter, Carlos López, who was the event organizer.

Whilst parading through the streets, causing small dogs to feint and small children to bark, they stopped at Chinasol to show off the bikes, take hostages and gloat at lesser bikes, much to the delight of gathered onlookers.

Fortunately, my Suzuki 250 Marauder is still in the repair workshop, so I was saved from making a fool of myself by venturing out onto the streets… David Darby, as you might know, left the country, just in case.
