According to a Motril Town Hall press release, the Medieval Fair held in Carchuna-Calahonda over Easter was a splendid success.

Locals and visitors had the chance to enjoy, fancy-dress, food tasting, falconry and general farting around. There was even a show involving Medieval warriors….

The First Councillor for Carchuna-Calahonda, the formidable Concepción Abarca said, “We were able to see whole families enjoying the Medieval Market, which is picking up more and more success each time it comes around.”

Well, if the crisis carries on the way it’s going, we will be enjoying a permanent Medieval lifestyle… *Gloom!*
