No Impunity on Internet

The Policia Nacional in Barcelona have arrested a woman for falsely accusing a man of rape, on Youtube.
The 39-year-old woman stands accused of assaulting the moral integrity of a man in Granada, by posting three videos on Youtube. The message of the last one read: “My name is Patricia, Marti, I am 12-years old and a man here, from Granada, has been molesting me since 12/10/12. He has raped me and taken nude photos of me.”

It was the Servicio de Atención a la Familia, belonging to the Policía Nacional in Granada who brought this case before a judge after investigating the harassment that the man had been submitted to, since he rejected her proposal of beginning a relationship together, via a social network contact.

The police arrested her and searched her flat in Cornellá, Barcelona. The woman allegedly has the habit of harassing men who refuse her advances via the Internet. In fact, on the 1st of April she was arrested for falsely accusing a man of plotting to kill  King, Juan Carlos I.

Since July, the latest victim has reportedly suffered 40 incidents of harassment after the woman is said to have phoned neighbours, warning them off the man, giving them his name, ID number and address. She allegedly even phoned the company where he worked, informing his boss that he was a rapist.
