Órgiva Gasoline Station Raided

On the night of the last Sunday in November, two individuals broke into the gasoline station on the outskirts of Órgiva, setting off the burglar alarm.

Within five minutes a Guardia Civil patrol car arrived, with the staff from the gasoline station not far behind, but by then the thieves had made off with 19,000 euros and the lottery tickets.

The thieves first tried to enter through the public toilets, with what looks to have been a large drill to break through the wall, as well as hammers. However, they struck a metal sheet and had to abandon the attempt from there. This part of the installations is not covered by the burglar alarm.

They had more success from the other side, gained entrance to the office, setting off the alarm. They were fast and made off with 19,000 euros and 120 lottery tickets (decimos) with the following numbers: 93464, 33872, 54008, 73078, 79184 and 14899.
