The annual Dia de las Asociaciones for Almuñécar and La Herradura has already been put off twice, owing to rainfall, so it has been decided that it will now be held May 2013. The event was originally planned for Saturday the 20th of October, and then put back one week until the 27th (today), which has been cancelled as well.

The final decision was taken this Wednesday, because Thursday and Friday were forecast for heavy showers, leaving insufficient time to set up all the stall for today, Saturday.

So, there you go, not Clubs Day until next year and coming as it will, in May, the only puddles you are likely to see will be ones of sweat…
