The Russian National Ballet, directed by Ivan Gromakov will be performing in the Majuelo Botanical Park in Almuñécar on Saturday the 8th of September at 22.00h. The performance is entitled, Los Cosacos de Taras Bulba.

Iván Gromakov Gromakov was appointed by the Russian Ministry of Culture in 1991 to spread the richness of Cossack culture. This show has now been running for over twenty years and has won over 100 awards from critics across the globe and is recognised by UNESCO as number-one in the spreading of Cossack cultural heritage. Furthermore he was recognised at the Bolsoy Threatre in Moscow as Russia’s best choreographic director in the speciality of Cossack Folklore.

Tickets for the 2-hour performance can be had for five, eight and twelve euros if booked and six, ten and fifteen euros on the door.
