Very little information is available at the moment, but the robbery took place around 08:30 at the savings bank Unicaja in the Plaza de Madrid, whilst cleaning staff were still working.

According to sources from the Policía Local, the thieves arrived on a blue scooter, carrying knives.

The Unicaja branch later on in the morning displayed a sign on the door saying, ‘temporarily closed due to circumstances beyond our control.’

Police investigators have not wanted to release to the press how much was obtained, whilst the investigation is ongoing.
