Teachers and parents turned out in the Plaza de la Constitución (town hall) to express their indignation following an attack on a school teacher at the new P-4 school (IES Puerta del Mar) by one of her girl pupils.

Over a hundred people were present to show their support for the victim. Some of those present held up a ‘red card’ to simulate the kind that football referees hold up when they send a player off.

At present, there is no more information available, as to the age of the aggressor, or how the attack happened.
