An Almuñequero, Antonio Miguel Aneas Vigo, died at the area hospital of Santa Ana in Motril from causes that can only be clarified by an impending autopsy.
Sr Aneas, who was in his fifties, had not been feeling well for several days and had decided to go to Santa Ana. As the problem appears to have been related to his breathing, the doctors decided to carry out a routine pulmonary inspection with a bronchoscope. However, the patient died during the procedure.
Antonio Miguel Aneas was married with two daughters and worked at Instalaciones Técnicas Ureña. He was also well known for his participation as Treasurer in a Semana Santa brotherhood, La Cofradía de la Piedad.
