A man has been found guilty of threatening his wife for refusing to wear a veil in Linares. It was was proved that he continually threatened her for leaving the house without covering her head or simply going out without his permission.

Besides a 9-month, suspended sentence, there is also a restraining order on him that forbids him approaching  within 300 metres of his wife, or attempting to communicate with her, by any form, within one year and nine months.
