A police helicopter captured a biker on camera who managed to knock up 19 driving infractions in only four minutes! Hey, gotta say, Guys, that my Mary would knock up 19 driving infractions before she even got the car out of the garage, which would take about four hours, admittedly, but that’s a different story.
The footage was taken at midday on the 15th of May on the N-340 near Benajarafe, heading east. Being a biker, he overtook everything along the way, even if it involved an unbroken line, even if it coincided with oncoming traffic because there was just enough space to squeeze through.
The system used is interesting, if a little disconcerting; It’s operated by a normal Guardia Civil policeman, who flies as a passenger in the DGT helicopter, armed with a mega, sod-off camera, capable of picking up a number plate as far as three kilometres away!
The footage is then processed by the DGT (Departamento General de Trafico) who then knock up the corresponding traffic fines, bless their cotton socks.
