El Parque de la Americas, in other words, the main park next to the church, is now sporting a geyser in the middle of the large central pond.
Something had to be done because breakages and leaks were costing the Town Hall 1,000 litres a year.
So, the artificial lake was emptied, the bottom made completely waterproof and a geyser capable of shooting a jet of water ten metres into the air was installed.
The small cascades under the little bridges have been improved, as well. Notice boards with informative botanical information have been replaced, as the old ones had lost the battle against Time… and vandals, bless them.
The geyser will be operating from 9am to 10.10am and then from midday to 3pm, and then from 5pm to 11pm.
