According to the PP in Alhendín, municipal vehicles won’t pass their ITV’s owing to their lamentable state. They demand, for example, that the rubbish collection lorry should be taken off the road as its ITV certificate expired 3 months previously.
As you can imagine, the PP are not governing in the said town, but even so, you might have thought that depriving the town of its refuse collection vehicle isn’t going to help anybody, especially the good folk of Alhendín. You would be correct in thinking that the town has another vehicle for the job, however, it has been off the road for the last two months because it has broken down…
The reason that it is in this state is, according to the PP, because the Town Hall already owes 12,000 euros to the local car-repair workshops and they are not keen to take on more work from the Town Hall, understandably.
