You know; that apart-hotel scheme, built smack in the middle of a barranco, which allegedly caused the back road down to Hotel Alcazar to completely collapse and the main road down through the Punta to partially collapse?

Well, the Supreme Court of Andalucia, the TSJA, has just rejected an appeal lodged in 2005 against the Town Hall by the Junta de Andalucia. However, these judicial decisions are like thunderclaps from a departing storm, thanks to the slowness of the Spanish legal system. The sad conclusion is that the only thing that can stop rampant urban expansion is a worldwide economic crisis and a collapse of the credit industry.
