Returning to Torrenueva, a woman was mugged by hooded thieves, armed with a pistol – and not a water pistol, so we can rule out off-duty firemen.
According to the police report, the 68-year-old woman had just left home at 8.30 in the morning, accompanied by her son, en route to the shop, which she runs. At that moment three hooded individuals approached, one of whom was brandishing a pistol (later thought to have been a replica or toy one).
The son reacted by jumping on one and in the struggle managed to remove his hood, after biting the robber’s hand. The reaction was immediate – all three ran off without having obtained anything, other than teeth marks…
