New Surface For Las Tejas

The football field at Las Tejas will be transformed in the near future, with the introduction of a new artificial surface, the second such sporting surface in La Herradura.
The football ground was inaugurated towards the end of the 1980’s, and was one of the first playing surfaces in the Granada area to have a natural grass playing area. Now the surface will be artificial and permanent.
The project has had 458,545 euros set aside, and should be complete within five months, covering 7,916.50 sqm. The project also includes a bit of cash for new goals, benches and other football related paraphernalia needed to bring the ground up to scratch.
