Jet-Ski Accident

A 37-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy had to be rescued by the Guardia Civil, maritime rescue service after their jet-ski crashed against rocks on the limits between Almuñécar and Salobreña (Barranco Enmedio). The Guardia Civil were alerted at 13.30 on the 7th of July to the fact that two people on a jet ski were having serious problems controlling their small craft, owning to the waves and current. The two occupants, who were from Valencia and were here on holiday, climbed onto the rocks after their craft collided with them. Neither of the two was injured, although the jet ski, which they had rented, was a total write-off.
