Of course I’d had a few lovely rations of food in Meson, in the town-hall square in Almuñécar, but I recently tried their evening menu, and plumped for the Brocheta (skewered meat), and was quite disappointed when I realised it meant just the one skewer…
However, reality struck when the biggest skewer in the history of skewers was laid before me, with vegetables, peppers and pieces of meat the size of small fists! Believe me when I say, I am a chap that can put away food, and this was right up my carnivorous street.
Drinks, snacks, tapas or meals, Alejandro at the Mesón produces the lot, every day until late at night… so don’t pass through the town-hall square in Almuñécar without giving it a try!
