Talking of road related stories… the work continues at the top of Rambla del Espinar, where there have now covered the top of the Rambla with concrete and have even started laying the kerbing stones, which look like they will mark the entrance to the roundabout.
If they continue to work at this sort of speed, they will probably be finished well ahead of schedule. I don’t know about anyone else in the area, but the sound of that digger starting up every morning at 07.30 does get a tad wearing, but I guess that’s just the price of progress!
When finished, it should enable much easier access to the premises at the top of the Rambla instead of having to do go down to the beach, then up past El Salón to the very top of town, then down Sauces, all to get to an apartment that you are just a few metres from when you enter the village from the main road.
