Hotel Salobreña has a new mascot for this summer: Chiri. This mascot that was conceived to promote chirimoya production and sales obviously has an impeccable taste in event hostesses, by the way, judging by the photograph.
“Chiri had breakfast with all the kids, which as well as being fun for them, it encourages kids to eat fruit and vegetables,” said the hotel manager, Manuel Martín Montero.
The trouble is that Chiri’s costume is not the best get up during the sweltering heat of summer, of course, but on a positive note, whoever is inside sheds a few kilos each time he or she puts it on.
And kids will be kids, because besides running screaming rings around the sweating hero, they tried to push him into the pool…
