Work continues on the roundabout at the top of Barrio Espinar. The trees have all been removed, the riverbed widened and the reinforcing rods placed. When I last looked they were filling the bridging area with concrete, which was being supplied by a regular delivery of concrete in mixers which were driven the wrong way up the one way system to reach the works.
I only mention this, because in my stupidity, whilst rubber necking to get a good view of the works, I very nearly drove headlong into a cement mixer coming up towards the site. Had I at least taken notice of the two men waving their arms at me, I perhaps wouldn’t have looked such a cock!
But there you go… more importantly, the works seem to be on time, and the finished article will of great benefit to all road users in the town.
