Residents will have noticed that work has started on the streets of Calle Nueva, Carmen, Puerta de la Villa and Fábrica Nueva. Bad news is there’s more to come, as part of the state funded project will incorporate improvements on the larger roads of Antequera and Constitución as well.
This should get underway as soon as a few minor traffic flow details have been ironed out. Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor for Town Planning, Manuel Pérez Cobos, apologised for the inconvenience caused and estimated completion of the works within a nine-month period.
